Nature does not fear destruction.
In its rhythm, “death” is simply a phase in the eternal cycle.
Day follows night.
Leaves fall, only to bloom again.
Lava tears the earth apart — and gives birth to fertility.
Nothing stands still.

All that is old must collapse to make space for the new.

If we turn to the myths of antiquity, we learn that Cronus was a figure of destructive power — a god of time who devoured his own children in fear of being overthrown.
But as I explored this image more deeply, a new clarity emerged:
Cronus is not just a demon of control. He is the living embodiment of nature itself.

Bloom and decay.
Birth and death.
Spring and autumn.

The tangible world is never permanent, because all that is alive must pass through transformation.

On canvas, this truth reveals itself through symbolic matter.
At the center of my work lies volcanic glass - obsidian - nature collapsed into stone.

“The Fracture of Cronus” captures a pivotal moment:
the instant when power collides with inevitable change —
and in that collision, becomes the very force that gives rise to the new.
